Sharon Andrews, NC Real Estate Broker
Sharon Andrews has distinguished herself in the field of real estate for the past 24 years. She came into this business with years of experience as a paralegal, which equipped her with a solid basis for understanding the intricacies of contracts and legal issues that are part of home sales. Beginning her real estate career in general brokerage, then transitioning into new home sales, Sharon obtained the highest designation one can receive in residential marketing (MIRM) in 2007. Sharon also received the distinction of the Silver Finalist in her Region for Sales Manager of the Year, an award bestowed by the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders.
Sharon is a member of Wake County Home and Franklin County Home Builders Associations. She has served as a Wake County Home Builder director and as a director on the National Association of Home Builders as well as Vice President of Associates.
New home construction and working with builders and developers is the highlight of the business for Sharon. They are all like family, and as a team, we make a positive impact on the communities by providing housing. She continues to work in the counties of Wake, Franklin, Granville, Durham, and Johnston.
Katherin Burnette, CEO, NC Real Estate Broker, Founders Council Member, CIAS, SFR, ABR
Katherin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Triangle Real Estate Group team. She has years of real estate management experience having worked for several other companies prior to Triangle Real Estate Group. She attributes much of her past success to the experience she gained as a manager with one of Raleigh's top real estate firms. For 11 years, she worked tirelessly to help her team achieve a huge level of success, helping the company achieve recognition as one of the top 5 real estate firms in the Triangle area.
Christy Kitson, NC Real Estate Broker
Christy and her family have moved from North Carolina to Wisconsin, then Texas, and finally back “home” to North Carolina. With each relocation, Christy realized first-hand how important it was to have a great real estate partner who listened to her family’s needs and exceeded expectations when it came to the transaction of buying or selling a home. These encounters are what have driven Christy to earn her real estate license and provide similar great experiences for her clients. Whether buying, selling or investing, Christy has witnessed it all from both a personal and professional perspective.
Nanette Newton, NC Real Estate Broker
In 1996, Nanette co-founded AppleTREE New Homes & Land. She managed the sales and marketing of over $300 million in new homes and land sales in the Triangle and Triad areas. Nanette was intricately involved with the creation and representation of single family, multifamily and master-planned golf course communities.
Nanette has been a member of Wake County Home Builders Association and Durham Home Builders Association. As a member of the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council, she has served on their executive council for many years. Nanette is also a member of the Raleigh/Wake Board of Realtors and has served on their Grievance and Arbitration committees. Additionally, she has been a member of Durham Regional Association of Realtors and Durham Home Builders Association. Currently, Nanette holds the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation and has her MIRM designation as a member of the Institute of Residential Marketing. She is a licensed real estate broker for the State of North Carolina.
Philip W. Matthews, NC Real Estate Broker
Bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in buying and selling real estate, Philip Matthews is an invaluable asset to Triangle Real Estate Group. Beginning his career along the coast, Philip previously deployed his talents in the Topsail Beach area for almost a decade before relocating to Raleigh in 1994.
Since moving to Raleigh and later joining our firm, Philip has worked diligently to build a client portfolio that features more than 500 builder and developer clients. That extensive portfolio has proven to be instrumental in helping to meet the diverse needs of our clients. He specializes in raw land and finished lot opportunities.
Sherrie Smith, NC Real Estate Broker
Beginning her career in real estate as a superintendent for a local building contractor, Sherrie later earned her General Contracting license in 1997. This unique four-year experience in the construction market gives Sherrie the ability to understand what her clients both need and want when it comes to buying and selling a home. This experience also provided Sherrie with keen insight into what most people want in a Realtor.
