Triangle Real Estate Group Gives Back

We believe in giving back to the community and enjoy volunteering as much as we can.

Our featured organizations at this time:

Triangle Real Estate Group has sponsored the Zebracorns, a robotics team competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition Championship and representing the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Foundation in Durham.

The First Robotic Competition combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, teams of 25 students or more are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It’s as close to "real-world engineering" as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team.

Students enjoy:

  • Learning from professional engineers
  • Building and competing with a robot of their own design
  • Learning and using sophisticated software and hardware
  • Competing and cooperating in alliances and tournaments
  • Earning a place in the World Championship
  • Qualifying for over $19 million in college scholarships

The Championship event will be held April 23-26 at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis Missouri, but you don't have to travel to enjoy the fun. Click here to learn more about the Zebracorns.
