Agent X: Realogy’s Alexa-Based Voice Assistant to Increase Productivity
If you haven’t heard, real estate giant Realogy just launched an exciting new voice-based digital assistant that operates as a skill on the Alexa platform.
Introducing Agent X, a productivity and coaching tool providing affiliated real estate professionals assistance when it comes to efficiency and market intelligence. By asking Alexa to “ask Agent X,” information like listings and client presentations, productivity and goals tracking, a daily digest that includes a briefing of the agent's day ahead, industry news and more are just a voice command away.
Chris Padilla, Realogy’s senior director of Product Development, claims, “Voice is going to change the way we do business, and it fits very nicely with the way our agents work on a day-to-day basis and helps them unlock that productivity potential. Our agents are able to ask for the information they’re looking for via voice when they don’t have time to dive deeper.”
To interact with Agent X, users must have an Alexa device or the Alexa app (available for iOS and Android). Once enabled, a user’s voice command will grant them access to a breadth of information, including:
- Daily Digest: By asking “Alexa, start my day with Agent X,” agents can access a personalized briefing of listing activity and appointments, their performance scorecard, and even the top real estate news headlines. Whether at home getting ready for work, driving to the office or other appointments, agents can begin their day with the information they need to be efficient, organized, knowledgable and successful.
- Listings: Agent X can access an agent’s CRM database and describe their listings by specific status (new, active, pending, expiring). Additionally, the agent can receive property details by address or MLS.
- Calendar: Just like having a personal assistant, Agent X can add an appointment to an agent’s schedule, get meeting details or lookup their schedule within any specific timeframe.
“Whether it’s lead generation, market intelligence or CRM transaction management, Agent X is there to assist our agents in their daily lives, making them more efficient and effective,” says Padilla.
