During the month of December, the number of active listings was down 2% from the previous year and down 15% from last month. Wake County's median listing price was $420,000 and the median sold price was $340,000.

Compared to last year, the average number of days that homes spent on the market before being sold was up 2%. Overall, the number of units sold decreased by 17% year-over-year and decreased by 7% from the previous month.
