Wake County January Market Stats

February's Market Update video for Wake County was just released and is full of useful and helpful information that can help you make smart real estate decisions. Here's a summary of the information covered in the video above:

During the month of January, the number of active listings was down 3% from the previous year and down 7% from December. Wake County's median listing price was just under $430,000 and the median sold price was just over $330,000.

Compared to last year, the average number of days that homes spent on the market before being sold was up 15%. Overall, the number of units sold decreased 14% year-over-year and decreased 31% month-over-month.
