39th Annual Apex PeakFest

Historic Downtown Apex

Celebrate ‘The Peak of Good Living’ this Saturday at PeakFest 2019! For more than 30 years, downtown Apex has buzzed with excitement during this annual family friendly event featuring a day of fun, food, and friendship. PeakFest is an arts and crafts festival that brings over 22,000 people to downtown Apex each year. As the largest public event in Apex, PeakFest offers live music, a wide variety of artists that produce works like jewelry, pottery, watercolor paintings, and more, entertainment for the kids, delicious food findings, and more. Stop by PeakFest to discover all this event has to offer!

    

Wake Forest’s Meet in the Street

Saturday, May 4 from 10am-4pm

Each year, historic downtown Wake Forest hosts its annual arts and crafts festival, Meet in the Street. This much-anticipated event boasts a full day of live music, entertainment, and more! You can expect to find vendors lined up along White Street and Taylor Street and food trucks serving scrumptious bites on Brooks Street. Enjoy a BMX Stunt Show, live music, a magic show, and more! 

Parking info and a helpful hint! There is a Free Park & Ride Shuttle that will transport you from Sam’s Club-Wake Forest and drop you off right in the perfect spot to enjoy the festival! The shuttle will run from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm and can be located using the ‘Park & Ride’ signs near the pickup point. You can also self-park.

    

Fest in the West

USA Baseball in Cary

It’s Western Cary’s signature festival! Fest in the West is another family fun event that you can look forward to this weekend. Featuring a wide variety of local brews, food trucks, and live music, you won’t want to miss out on all that Fest in the West has to offer. This year’s festival welcomes a huge lineup of local artisans presenting unique creations from stained glass to candles. Take your little ones to the KidZone where they can enjoy an obstacle course, petting zoo, balloon artist, and much more!
