August's Market Update video for Wake County is out and it's packed full of helpful information for navigating the local market. Here's a summary of the information covered in the video above as it pertains to Wake County's real estate market:

During the month of July, the number of active listings in Wake County demonstrated no change from the previous July and was stable from the previous month. The median listing price was just over $430,000 and the median sale price was $350,000.

Compared to last year, the average number of days that homes spent on the market before being sold was up 7% from 42 days to 45 days. The number of units sold was consistent year-over-year and held steady month-over-month.
